Saliva is the immune system in the Oral Cavity (mouth and teeth). Saliva is 99% water and 1% dry substance in form of protein and salt.
-
Saliva fights germs in your mouth and prevents bad breath, and keeps your mouth moist and comfortable, and helps you chew, taste, and swallow.
-
Saliva has proteins and minerals that protect tooth enamel and prevent tooth decay and gum disease - and it helps keep dentures securely in place.
-
Dry Mouth may lead to oral health problems and should be taken seriously. Ask your dentist for advice.
HAp⁺ relieves the symptoms of dry mouth and helps your teeth stay healthy with powerful saliva stimulation
-
Most of us do not pay much attention to our saliva, but for large groups of the population “dry mouth” is a problem ranging from being barely noticeable to severely reducing quality of life.
-
1 in 4 of the overall population
experiences dry mouth. -
And as we age, more of us will experience dry mouth: 50% of over 65 year olds have dry mouth.
-
Dry mouth is very often caused by medication as a side-effect. Ask your doctor or pharmacist.
-
Severe dry mouth may also be caused by arthritis in the form of Sjogren's Syndrome, or having radiotherapy treatment to the head and neck.
-
Your dentists can see and warn about the effects of dry mouth.

Ask your dentist for advice.
Why is Saliva so Important?
Ósk Magnúsdóttir,
Child Carer
I have a history of periodontitis, and after I began using HAp⁺ lozenges several times during the day my symptoms have disappeared. My dentist is over the moon with the results and encourages me to continue using it after each meal and when needed.
Kristin Svava,
Long-term dry mouth sufferer
I literally cannot do without the HAp⁺ lozenges. They are better than everything I have tried before.
Jónas Geirsson,

About us
-
Dr Jensdottir is the lead scientist behind the research and product development of the HAp⁺ technology.
-
She devoted her studies to the erosive potential of acidic foodstuffs.
-
This led to her development of the acidic but
non-erosive oral care product HAp⁺ -
Based on 15 years of research.
-
HAp⁺ is recommended by the Icelandic Dental Association.

How it Works
The HAp⁺ technology is the result of 15 years of clinical research and product development in Denmark and Iceland within the field of Dentistry.
Teeth erode when exposed to acidic attacks. Saliva, which is stimulated by acid, helps teeth stay strong and healthy. This paradox is solved through HAp⁺’s unique, patented acid:calcium ratio, which makes it acidic but non-erosive. This creates an effective saliva stimulant which doesn’t erode teeth.
HAp⁺ is based around a unique, patented acid:calcium (Ca) ratio; such that the hydroxyapatite (Ca₁₀(PO₄)₆(OH)₂) mineral, known as HAp, is supersaturated and thus prevents dental erosion.
HAp⁺ functions as a very competent and effective oral cleanser, which is 3 times more effective than chewing gum.
HAp⁺ is recommended by the Icelandic Dental Association, clinically tested and patented worldwide.
